In the early 1990s, Gladstone published Chester Gould's Dick Tracy's classic comic strip adventures in several formats: oversized, 8 1/2" x 11" comic albums - perfect bound and printed on heavy offset paper stock in glorious computer color; double-sized, 64-page comics in full color; 72-page prestige format -- square-bound and printed on mando-brite paper to achieve crisp linework and brilliant colors; and 48 page 8" x 10 3/4" black and white interiors but full color cover of a painting by comic book legend, L. B. Cole.
The publisher is releasing, from his personal collection, complete uncirculated sets of all Dick Tracy publications that Gladstone produced. There are not many left so call in your order today!

Album # 1: "Dick Tracy Fights the Mumbles Quartet".
Follow along as this mush-mouthed villain and his musical mob defy the law, threaten the public, mangle the English language and thwart Dick Tracy - - but not for long!
Album # 2: "The Origin of the Two-Way Wrist Radio." Sixty years before the cellphone, Chester Gould came up with the idea of a two-way hand-held communication device. In this story, the blind son of a con woman named Irma, comes up with this and other inventions, not knowing that Irma is out for revenge and even murder against her multi-millionaire bosses.
Album # 3: "The Lair of the Mole." The incredible story of how Dick Tracy almost gets exterminated by the Duke and his girlfriend, and how the Duke gets his just desserts from the Mole, the incredibly strong underworld thug, who has been living underground for 15 years - slowly eliminating all those who have double-crossed him. In the end, Tracy comes face-to-face with this underground terror.
THE ORIGINAL DICK TRACY COMICS #1-5 (double-sized, 64-page comics in full color)
Issue #1: "Dick Tracy vs Mrs. Pruneface."This first issue leads off with Tracy being kidnapped by the huge and ghastly looking amazonian Mrs. Pruneface, who has vowed to put Tracy to a long and painful death to avenge her late husband's demise. Can Tracy escape from her powerful clutches in time?
Issue #2: "Dick Tracy and the Evil Influence." Perhaps Tracy faces his greatest challenge when he takes on the master of hypnosis, the Evil Influence. This arch-villain exerts absolute control over his victims, relieves them of their money, and leaves a trail of dead bodies. Can Tracy avoid becoming his next victim?
Issue #3: "Dick Tracy Exterminates the Extortioner." Gargles and his gang extort money from shopkeepers in exchange for phony mouthwash. Tracy goes after them but Gargles proves to be a slippery and deadly foe.
Issue #4: "Dick Tracy Confronts Itchy Oliver." Itchy and his gang are after B.O. Plenty's money and will do anything to get it. As Tracy begins the chase, Itchy leaves behind a wave of death and destruction. Tracy is taken at gunpoint and held hostage by Mrs B.B. Eyes, who decides to starve him to death.
Issue #5: "Dick Tracy Rubs Shoulders." The pickpocket ringleader, Shoulders, rakes in the dough until two of his men and their 6-year old street singer rob Dick Tracy. Things get uglier and deadlier when Tracy closes in to shut down Shoulder's operation. Also included in this issue is the troublesome romance of B. O. Plenty and Gravel Gertie. Undismayed by a possible prison sentence, B.O. and Gertie plan their wedding day.
